Cook Islands


Aitutaki Day Tour & Cruise

Full Day from Rarotonga. Visit the Jewel in the Cook Islands - Aitutaki with it’s turquoise lagoon and unsurpassed natural beauty. Includes: Hotel transfers, return inter-island flights, Aitutaki island tour, lagoon cruise, BBQ lunch & snorkelling equipment.

Departs: Monday to Saturday from Rarotonga at 8.00am

Morning Tour of the inner lagoon of Rarotonga to coral viewing and snorkelling areas, followed by a BBQ fish lunch on Koromiri Island near Pacific Resort at Muri Beach. During lunch a small show will be given on Pareu tying and a visit to a marae suite. Boat Cruise is in a Glass Bottomed Boat.

Half Day Highland Scenic Tour

Half Day Highland Scenic Tour (min 2 people): from £72

By 30minutes off the Nadi back road we arrive at our scenic look-out at 2,500ft or 800m above sea level overlooking the whole of the Nadi Bay, the outer lime - stone Yasawa group of islands which includes Tavarua island famous for Quicksilver Surf championship and Cloudbreak and the neighbouring mountain ridges covered in rediatar pine forest. After a 10minute photography break we journey a further 20minutes along the mountain ridge and shadowing pine forest to the village of Nausori. You will be given the opportunity to visit a rural village school opposite the village, where photo’s are allowed with the class and time will be given to talk with the village school kids. After the school visit we cross over to the village for a walk through the village green to view a real life Fijian Highland village (remember theres nothing touristy about this excursion, as this is the real Fiji in Half a day).

Trip departs: 0830 – 1230 or 1330 – 1730

You'll visit the home of a village chief and take part in authentic ceremonies; get an insight into the local folklore and superstitions - and hear about the days of voodoo & cannibalism. You'll learn about traditional plant medicines on a rustic rainforest trail and you can swim with the 'gods' in the legendary waterfall. We'll show you how to husk a coconut and serve tropical fruits while you just relax and enjoy the therapeutic waters and mystical tranquility of this magnificent natural setting. You’ll wander through several shallow streams – each one a photographer's delight, native bushland and lush tropical rainforest with guides who explain the traditional use of various plants along the way, including plant medicines. At the waterfall you’ll learn how to husk a coconut, eat tropical fruits and do some fish feeding.
