Mid-size rental car on all-inclusive basis and unlimited kilometres

Price Excludes: International and domestic flights to Australia, airport taxes, meals (except breakfast), and airport transfers.

Conditions: Prices are per person, twin/double-share and subject to availability. Prices are correct at the time of submission (Sep 18) but are subject to change without notice. Valid for travel 1 Aug 18 to 31 Mar 19. Blackout periods and surcharges may apply. Advertised price based on travel in March 2019. Car hire excess fee of AU$550 applies. This will be imprinted on a credit card upon collecting the vehicle. Excess reduction options are available at an additional cost per day. Car parking fees may apply in some locations.

Day 1: Adelaide to Barossa Valley, 80km

Collect your hire car and travel northwest from Adelaide on the Princess Highway to the Barossa Valley. Why not stop at the Jacobs Creek visitor centre to take a tour and enjoy a wine tasting before checking in to your luxurious accommodation?

Day 2: At leisure

Take some time to explore the region and experience the local fare, whether it’s a cheese plate at Maggie Beer’s Farm shop or a delicious lunch at the famous Seppeltsfield Winery. The options are endless.

Day 3: Clare Valley, 90km

Continue north to the Clare Valley, a hidden gem of historic villages and wineries in a picturesque location famed for its wine and pioneering heritage. The great majority of wineries are small-scale boutique producers, some dating back to the 1850s . Your accommodation overlooks the lush fairways of Clare Golf Course and the sparkling waters of Inchiquin Lake.

Day 4: Return to Adelaide, 164km

Enjoy some last-minute exploration before heading back to Adelaide where you return your hire car late afternoon.
